Our Services
At Keiki Reading Nest, we offer a range of services to promote bonding, brain growth and fun for different age ranges. Our early literacy practices are simple and our hope is working towards building a love of reading and doing it in a social way.

Toddler & Me Playgroup

Preschool Pals & Pages
6-week program
For caregivers and their babies, under two years of age. This program is designed to help caregivers understand fun, simple practices to facilitate bonding, brain growth and fun. We have a short 20-minute learning session filled with rhymes, songs, puppets, stories and more. We follow our learning session with playtime. A great space to meet other caregivers and share stories.
Starts with a structured 35-minute program led by an instructor with activities for the child/caregiver unit. We will sing, move, read and play. An extension craft is built in to extend the session theme and practice creativity and fine motor skills and give the family a project to work on together.
This program is offered at selected preschools (only Mililani Baptist Preschool and KidzKare Pearl City). This is our only program that does not include caregivers. We worked to bring stories to life through props, flannel stories, puppets and interactive reading. Children will explore weekly themes while participating in a program that is exciting. Our goals are to complement learning in the classroom with a little extra time reading, singing, talking, playing and writing. Most sessions end with a theme related art project.
