Early Literacy Playgroups and Programs
At Keiki Reading Nest, we believe that a caregiver is a child's first teacher. Sharing our love for reading, talking, singing, playing and writing, we create fun, dynamic programs based on these five early literacy practices for the child/caregiver unit. Participate in fun activities led by an instructor and learn new tools to take home and use to promote building a strong early literacy foundation.
Let us be your weekly playdate. A special time outside of the house to engage with your keiki and meet others along the way.
Our Approach
At Keiki Reading Nest, we expect caregivers to participate and learn through engaging in activities with their child. Each session is filled with guided activities meant for the caregiver/child unit. Learn ways to play with baby. We'll give you ideas and reasons for where to begin so you can start the habit of reading with your little one early. Best of all, at the nest, we are doing it together. Find motivation as well as respite with other caregivers of similar-aged children. See you at the nest.
